WELCOME

We are a non-profit association established pursuant to Subsection C. of the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Act ("The Act") to offer medical professional liability insurance for health care services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with Section 732 of The Act.  We are considered an independent agency of the Commonwealth for certain regulatory purposes.

Primary coverage is made available by the Association to those individuals and entities licensed in Pennsylvania that qualify for such coverage under Section 732 of The Act. The policies are issued and serviced by the Association including the payment of claims.
